Some of them are quite easy to prepare as they are very smooth. Mine seem to vary. I didn't love the flavour the first time I ate them but I do now. <br /><br />@Mary: I wonder if there are some that are more drought tolerant? They seem to vary in size, shape and colour and the plant varies in height, abundance of flowers etc... I guess a spot in part shade might work?
