Garden Decorations

Patrick from Bifucated Carrot wrote about voting time. Fall season for pumpkins, brilliantly coloured leaves and political signs popping out of the ground like mushrooms. Here's our sign:

Says: "Left out. Looking for a truly progressive party"

Goodness, I need *that* sign for my front lawn. I wanted to put up signs for every party but the conservatives to indicate that was my strategic voting strategy, but that was quickly vetoed by the only other voter in the household. No wonder voter turnout sucks, it's a reflection of the sucky candidates we have to choose from.

That pretty much sums up the way I feel about most elections. I'm always voting against the politician I hate the most, and for the one that sucks the least.

Why does it always have to be that way?!

I guess you weren't the only one who felt that way.

I see the Conservatives won -- sort of...

Yup. They shifted over about 'an inch' toward a majority government. You'll be seeing my sign again in about a year or so.
